I felt prompted to write and encourage prospective consultants to take a look at our business and get excited about our opportunity. We have a niche market, but you have to let people know what you do and where to find you, this is where the coaching and support we receive from the company is invaluable!

Today I banked the takings from two days in a country district fitting the Beauty for You ShapeWear. On the Monday and analysing 4 ladies colours on Tuesday. Monday’s sales came to $2,105.00 and Tuesday $2,341.00 giving the grand total of $4,456.00. My expenses were $10.00 per day for hire of a room in the country hall plus a gift for the lady who arranged the appointment timetable for fittings Monday and Colour Analysis on Tuesday.

About three weeks previously I was a guest speaker at a Play Centre fundraiser and the evening was divided into three breaks. Just over 100 tickets were sold and with the country ladies decorating the hall in the theme of the evening, which was called “Dress for Success”The ladies of the district arrived dressed up for a great evening and sat around tables with drinks and nibbles. The first part of the evening was on Colour, second part Style, and the third was the Bra and Undergarments. The evening was a success in many ways and I’ve been told they are still taking about it.

There was so much interest in the services that I was promoting they then asked if they organized two days work could I come to them. We scheduled a date and I gave them my appointment timetable and every slot was taken from 9am in the morning till 5.30pm in the evening. Everyone turned up on time and every lady wore their fitted bra and/or undergarments away. The best sale of the day was 3 bras and a Fashion Figure Control to one client, most of the others purchased two, some just one but want a second one on order for a month’s time. I was offered a bed by the appointment hostess so had the privilege of staying in their lovely farm homestead over night and the next morning I started the first colour analysis at 9am. I analysed the 4 ladies by midday and after lunch the ladies done their Million Dollar face makeover. They all purchased the collection and a Mag-ni-sel (I haven’t done my job unless they order that one) plus additional products.

I believe the word has gone around like a bushfire and many are asking Jo if she could get me back for another day as a few were disappointed that they couldn’t get an appointment. Now that there are so many recommending the Bra and Under Fashions plus having colours analysed (absolutely the best form of advertising) Several of the ladies are planning a trip to Wanaka and stay overnight so they can come to my studio and they want to come in groups of three or four. The business we are in has always had a demand but I do believe it has been made very popular by the TV programs that are currently running. “What not to Wear” and now “How to look good Naked” has created a need for many women to find out what suits them. We have a system that is second to none! No other company gives the total service that “Beauty for You” offers.

We are able to analyse and help women to understand their body figure and face shape that determines what styles and shapes suit them best. Makeup tuition is another really great service offered.
